Novelty Checks

Hi all, We have implemented a novelty pre-check. It helps to develop novel uncorrelated signals without occupying a submission slot. How it works. When you upload a submission file, now there’s a choice to either a. Check submission novelty first and only score and count it if it is novel (the new way), or b. To score and count this submission irrespective of its novelty (the old way). In the case a. only novel submission will occupy the slot, not novel will be discarded. In the case b. Submission will occupy a slot, may be deemed not novel and don’t participate in prize pool regardless of its score (this is how it used to work before this change). Novelty checks are also limited to 10 per competition.
