why we want uncorrelated signals

I'll be blunt. we've seen that crowdsourced signals so far are kinda the same stuff. If the entire world can figure out signals that are aligned on a correlation basis, well, mates and ladies, that aint what we want. we are willing to raise the prize pot to 50k usd. No joke. but the thing about hundreds of signals pointing in the same direction-thats pretty much getting in a cab and the taxi driver tells you to go long BTC. hope you get my point. if everyone with skillz can arrive at the same signal, up to scaling factor, that's not useful. signals die exactly because by the time your taxi driver or grandma tells you to do a trade, it's way too late. word.
